The Learning Generalist: Why my daughter doesn't deserve school

De vez em quando, é bom recentrarmo-nos no essencial. Cada criança é de facto uma oportunidade para melhorar.

The Learning Generalist: Why my daughter doesn't deserve school:

" I do have a few things in mind that I want my daughter to get out of her education - and I'm particular about these to the extent that I'm more than happy to homeschool her if necessary.

  • Enjoy her childhood and grow organically
  • Develop a respect for nature
  • Experience the dignity of labour
  • Build respect for tradition and indigenous livelihoods; learn extensively from them
  • Gain mastery over all our family languages - Hindi, Bengali and Marathi
  • Pursue knowledge for its own sake - not for curriculum
  • Discover the ability to follow her passion without fear
  • Question the status quo of the current world
  • Learn to work with others, not against them
  • Apply her learning in real life through inter-disciplinary challenges"
