Not "for" us, never against us, always with us.
If I had a flag for Lourense, I'll paint hese words on it.
In every language, even those that are now lost, specially those who are being invented.
Sometimes we feel closed doors all around. And there is a special kind of human beings that are precious: those who helped us to open windows, start a new path, find a solution, a better way.
Lourense H. Das knew how to do it, and really did it.
All over the world, and also with so many Portuguese, walking with us for education, reading, democracy, fraternity. Long before 2015, and also after, always with kindness, bravery and sharp ideas.
Two years ago, she came once again to Portugal and remind us what networking is really about - open windows, not shutting doors. Wisdom and human connections, communication, love, and not technologicaç devices. Critical thinking, humanity and freedom, not darkness and selfishness.
It is hard to me to write about Lourense, and I wish I could be with her family today. She would way to me there is many ways to be with those we love.
As usual, she would be wright. As usual, she would be part of this new, shining day.
